Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of neuro experience. The role may include providing care for various neurology diagnoses. Expected patient ratios are 1:5. Candidates should be proficient in managing and interpreting telemetry data. Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tubes is required. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients post-neurosurgery and during other neuro-specific procedures. Care may include assisting with procedural sedation administration and monitoring. This is a night shift position requiring commitment to working holidays, including Thanksgiving and New Year's. Flexibility to float between different units to meet staffing needs is essential.
