- Willingness to learn about a heavy neurology unit.
Description:
We are seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift position.
This role involves working in a heavy neuro unit.
You will be expected to provide care to patients with telemetry needs.
The patient ratio is expected to be 1:5.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.
You must commit to working during major holidays.
Refusal to float may impact guaranteed hours.
Previous experience with dysrhythmias and telemetry is essential.
You should be proficient in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of chest tubes.
Candidates should have experience in pre/post-neurosurgery care.
Communication devices will be provided when necessary for job duties.
Candidates must submit two references covering one year of experience.
