**Join Our Dynamic Telemetry Team as a Travel RN!**
**Job Description:**
- **Unit Overview:**
- Join our Telemetry Unit specializing in cardiac and neuro patients
- Currently accommodating 30 beds with plans for 12 overflow
- A supportive team of 50 core RNs to collaborate and thrive with
- **Daily Staffing:**
- Day Shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 2 CNAs, 0-1 sitters
- Night Shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 2 CNAs, 0-1 sitters
- **Patient Care:**
- Manage a patient ratio of 4:1
- Skilled nursing care for patients post-heart catheterization, pacemaker placements, ablations, and valve repairs
- **Equipment and Technology:**
- Work with cutting-edge technology including Tele boxes, Welch Allen vital sign machines, and Alaris IV pumps
- Electronic Medical Records managed through Meditech
- **Required Skills:**
- **Must-Have:**
- EKG interpretation
- IV start
- Chest tube management
- **Preferred:**
- Familiarity with telemetry procedures and protocols
- **Professional Requirements:**
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
- **Personality Characteristics:**
- Quick learner with excellent communication skills
- Dependable and team-oriented
- **Work Schedule:**
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 3-4 weekend shifts per month
- No on-call requirements
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrubs: Variable color, no specific color requirement
- Professional appearance: No visible piercings
