The nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients. Common conditions include chest pain, atrial fibrillation, stroke rule out, COPD, kidney stones, and pre/post heart catheterization. The nurse will administer blood, perform cardioversion, and interpret 12-lead EKGs as well as telemetry readings. Responsibilities include titrating anti-arrhythmic drips. Shifts will be rotating days and nights. The schedule will involve 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday shifts will be required every other. Floating to other units may be necessary.
