Job Description
- Provide direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning.
- Work independently while demonstrating strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
- Follow standard precautions and required PPE protocols.
Unit Details
- 28-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit
- Cares for a variety of cardiac patients and cardiac-related needs.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4–6
- Supported by PCTs and Healthcare Unit Coordinators.
- Monitor Techs available for telemetry monitoring.
- Virtual sitter monitoring available.
