License: Active Nursing License required. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, CPI, and NIH preferred. Must-Have: Travelers must float within the tower to orient to the facility. Travelers will float to meet staffing needs. Experience with EPIC charting is required. Travelers must be 100% nicotine-free. Description: This unit will open in early December. Travelers will float within the tower to orient while attending unit-specific training until the floor opens for patients. The unit features a newly remodeled environment with 45 beds. Caring for adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including sepsis, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine conditions, and cardiac diseases. A diverse patient population provides opportunities to build strong clinical judgment, time management, and critical thinking skills while gaining experience across multiple specialties. There are options for 36 or 48 hours per week. RNs will be required to float frequently to meet staffing needs. Care teams include CNAs, care techs, and a transport team, with LPNs assigned on some, but not all, floors. Travelers must work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Travelers who do not have a license in hand at the time of submission will be booked six weeks out. Scrubs must be worn with a specific color and logo. Sensitive roles such as nursing require non-discriminatory practices. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
