Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy; Epic experience; must be able to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves delivering patient care in a fast-paced environment, participating in discharge planning, delegating tasks appropriately, and providing health information to patients, families, and healthcare teams. All associates are required to receive all mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Adventist Health participates in E-Verify.
