Telemetry Nurse (RN) Reno, NV: This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients on a telemetry unit within a busy, Level II trauma center. The role demands a high level of clinical expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation and patient monitoring, supporting a wide variety of complex medical conditions including CHF, sepsis, and post-procedure care.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse - Telemetry T7
- Location: Reno, NV
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: NV RN license, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX), Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient telemetry/PCU experience, competency exam in rhythm strip interpretation, prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for patients with diagnoses such as NSTEMI, post-cath care, CHF, COPD, CVA, and ETOH intoxication.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to other units up to their competency level. May work major holidays and pick up an additional shift during the schedule period. The department is fast-paced, serving a 500-mile radius, with a patient ratio typically between 1:4 to 1:6.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available to start on 11/15/2026, with assignment ending on 02/13/2027.
