Compensation & Schedule Details

  • Hours & Shift: Night shift (36 hours per week). Fixed work week schedule of Friday through Sunday.
  • Contract Length: Travel contract (Target Start Date: October 12, 2026).
  • Low Census & Call-In Rule: May occasionally be placed on-call during low census periods; if called in, must arrive on-site within 1 hour.

Key Facility Policies & Floating Rules

  • Floating Mandate: May be required to float to sister campuses in West Burlington or Henry County as needed.
  • Testing & EMR: Travelers must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week of assignment to work on the unit. Charting via Epic (recent experience within the last 12 months required).

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior clinical experience in a telemetry/med-surg unit.
  • Licensure: Active Iowa (IA) RN license or multi-state compact RN license in hand.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required at submittal.
