Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Milwaukee, WI. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, focusing on orthopedic joint replacements, ENT procedures, and spinal surgeries, along with other medical overflows. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg- Provide care for orthopedic joint replacements, ENT, and spinal procedures
- Manage dialysis, falls, wound care, isolation, and COVID+ cases
- Administer IV antibiotics and pain management consistently following hospital protocols
- Collaborate with charge nurses and surgical physicians
- Use EPIC for charting and Alaris and Pyxis for medication management
- Participate in a rotating schedule with potential to float to other MedSurg areas
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in tracheostomy and laryngectomy care
- Competence in managing chest tubes and interpreting cardiac rhythms
