Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Critical Care / Cardiac) – New Mexico
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Full-Time
Highlights:
- Critical care patient population including post-cardiac catheterization and post-surgical patients
- Experience managing patients on high-risk medication drips including cardizem, heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, ketamine, and lidocaine
- Care for respiratory patients requiring non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (BiPAP, airVO)
- Night shift position offering stability and consistent scheduling
- Opportunity to advance through clinical ladder levels based on experience, certification, and education
- Point of Care testing procedures integrated into clinical practice
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Current ACLS certification from AHA required
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age and type of patient population served
- Strong communication skills and sensitivity to patient rights in care delivery
- Newly hired nurses with two or fewer years of RN experience will be hired at CN I status; higher clinical ladder levels considered based on relevant experience, national certification, and advanced degrees (BSN, MSN)
