Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with cardiovascular conditions, including MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, and those undergoing lung or chest surgeries. The Telemetry Nurse will be responsible for interpreting EKGs, titrating medications such as Cardizem and heparin, and managing various monitors in an acute care setting.

  • Additional Information: Responsibilities include troubleshooting ventilator equipment such as Cpap and Bipap, reading and interpreting telemetry strips, and collaborating with charge nurses and house supervisors. Float to other general medical units may be required.
