**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Nights)**
**Job Description:**
- Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit!
- **Schedule**: Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- **Patient Focus**: Work with cardiac and telemetry patients in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
- **Nurse/Patient Ratio**: Manage approximately 5 to 6 patients per nurse, ensuring personalized care.
- **Education Requirement**:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- **Experience Requirement**:
- Minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
- Deliver exceptional nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers on health management.
**Qualifications:**
- **Certifications Required**:
- BLS certification via AHA
- ACLS certification via AHA
- **Licenses**: RN License in the state of employment or compact.
**Additional Information:**
- **Weekend Requirement**: Every other weekend.
- **On Call Requirement**: No call.
- **Floating Requirement**: N/A.
- **EMR Used**: Epic.
- **Dress Code**: Ceil blue scrubs.
