The shift will consist of nights from 18:45 to 07:15. The assignment duration is 16 weeks. The nurse will be responsible for patient ratios of 1:5-6. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The nurse will float to other units as needed. Strong skills in the management of dysrhythmias are essential. Candidates should have experience in assisting with bedside procedures. This includes line insertion and thoracentesis. Experience in caring for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, CHF, and pre/post cardiac catheterization is necessary. Hourly expectations include 36 hours per week for three 12-hour shifts. The facility has a collaborative interdisciplinary support system in place. Daily census includes adult telemetry patients with various diagnoses. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, skilled communicator and a dedicated team player. Certifications must be obtained by the compliance deadline.
