Position Overview

Join a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital in Torrance, CA, providing telemetry nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Telemetry RNs with recent acute-care hospital experience who are comfortable caring for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
Administer medications and provide safe, evidence-based nursing care.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications

Active California RN license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a metropolitan Level I Trauma institution serving a diverse population.
Recent acute-care hospital experience preferred.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Travel experience preferred but not required.

Required Certifications

AHA BLS
MAB or CPI
NIHSS
LA City Fire Card and Life Safety Card (must be LA City-issued)
