Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Self-scheduling with rotating weekends. Day shift requires three weekend shifts per four-week period; night shift requires four weekend shifts per four-week period. No on-call requirements.

• 26-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Comprehensive team support including charge nurse, patient care technicians, and unit secretary
• Focus on post-procedure cardiac patients requiring titration of IV medications (cardiac drips, heparin, insulin)
• Documentation system: Meditech EMR
• Float opportunities limited to telemetry, medical-surgical, and orthopedic surgical units

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• Required experience: Telemetry nursing background
• Advanced skills preferred: Experience managing cardiac patients post-procedure with cardiac drip titration experience
• Proficiency with pacemakers and cardiac monitoring equipment
• Dress code: Royal blue scrub top with black scrub pants
