Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse with strong acute inpatient nursing skills to provide safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care. In this travel nursing job, you’ll assess patients, develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to support excellent patient outcomes.

• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Time: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shifts Per Week: Approximately 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040 – $2,150

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of acute inpatient telemetry RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale experience or certification
• Epic experience required
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Hospital or acute care Registered Nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments based on condition and policy
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient responses to clinical interventions
• Provide patient education and family education throughout the stay and at discharge
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, effective care
• Delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor while promoting teamwork and quality improvement
• Support compliance with regulatory standards and unit-based practice goals
