Telemetry Travel Nurse Job Details

• Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
• Contract: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Assignment Dates: August 23, 2026 – November 21, 2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040–$2,150
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift: Approximately 6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m., including every other weekend
• Work Setting: On-site acute-care inpatient telemetry unit

Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Kentucky
• At least 2 years of acute-care inpatient telemetry nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Epic electronic health record experience
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, patient- and family-centered nursing care for a designated group of telemetry patients.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and reassessments according to policy and patient condition.
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient responses to clinical interventions, recognize changes in condition, and communicate concerns promptly.
• Administer treatments and medications, support continuous telemetry monitoring, and document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, medications, and discharge needs.
• Delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed team members while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Promote teamwork, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
