**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Telemetry!**
**Job Description:**

- Evaluate patients and assist physicians in delivering essential patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and establish care priorities through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate personalized care plans based on initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments in response to patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions effectively.
- Manage care for patients with a focus on quality and safety.
- Document care activities in accordance with established standards and patient acuity.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and champion innovations in care delivery.
- Deliver patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
- Take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required.
- Experience with chest tube and stroke patients.
- Ability to manage up to 6 patients.
**Education & Certifications:**
- Required:
- ASN from an accredited nursing school.
- BLS - AHA certification.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Telemetry certification or pass Telemetry competency exam.
- CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.
- Preferred:
- BSN degree.
- Telemetry and NIH stroke certifications.
**Schedule:**
- Position: Registered Nurse Telemetry
- Shift: 645 AM to 715 PM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: As Needed
- Holiday Requirement: Yes
- Float Requirement: Yes
- Required Years of Experience: 3
- Preferred Years of Experience: 3
- Required Hard Skills: Chest tube/stroke patient experience.
- Required Soft Skills: Epic experience.
