Travelers must be comfortable with each specialty. Candidates should not seek to work in conjunction with another permanent or travel assignment. Requests for schedule accommodations will not be considered. Rural experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to work independently and hit the ground running. The patient population varies from newborns to geriatrics. The RN to patient ratio is 5:1, depending on acuity. Higher acuity PCU patients may have a ratio of 3:1 or 4:1. Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted upfront—requests after upload will not be approved. Five days or less of requests for time off will be approved for a 13-week assignment. Candidates must have their own vehicle for this assignment. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. The facility will not approve scheduling requests after the time of offer.
