Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Utilize unit equipment including EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry monitors
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Assist with procedures performed on the unit, including heart catheterizations
Float to all MedSurg/Telemetry floors as needed; expected to work every other weekend or two full weekends per month
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
ACLS certification required prior to submission
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg/Telemetry experience
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
