- Comfortable with NIH scale.
- Proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and various neurology diagnoses.
Description:
This position requires an experienced registered nurse with substantial telemetry experience.
No neuro experience is needed, but candidates must be open to learning due to the unit's focus on neurology.
The nurse will be expected to float between different areas as needed.
Weekends are required every other weekend.
The expected patient ratio is 1:5.
The unit handles a variety of neurology cases, including post-neurosurgical patients.
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and management skills in areas such as BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and procedural sedation administration.
Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams are essential.
Availability to work during specified holiday periods is required.
