**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic Telemetry unit with a focus on providing exceptional patient care!
- **Shift**: 7A-7P, with guaranteed 48 hours preferred.
- **Start Date**: December 14
- **Unit Specifics**:
- Number of Beds: 36
- Patient Ratios:
- 1:3 during AM shifts
- 1:4 during PM shifts
- Support from patient care techs
- Equipment:
- BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
- Documentation System: Meditech
- **Scheduling Requirements**:
- FT Staff: 36 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation
- PT Staff: 48 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation
- PRN Staff:
- Tier 1: 3 shifts in a 4-week period with 1 weekend shift
- Tier 2: 6 shifts in a 4-week period with 3 weekend shifts
- Rotating holiday schedule
- **Floating Policy**:
- PRN floats once weekly; FT/PT staff float based on rotations; bonus shifts float first
- **Patient Experience**:
- Bedside shift report, hourly rounding, daily leadership rounds
- **Hospital Specifics**:
- Recognized as a Level 2 trauma center
- Holds Stroke Accreditation and STEMI Accreditation
- **Hiring Profile**:
- **Must Have**:
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience managing vasoactive drips
- **Typical Procedures**:
- Central Line or PICC line placement
