TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in South Bend, Indiana, 46601!

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry experience required Cerner experience required Description: Position available for a Telemetry Registered Nurse. Shift is nights from 19:00 to 07:30. Nurses will be required to float to other departments as needed, including Post-Surgical, Ortho/Trauma, Oncology, Medical/MedSurg, Cardiac, Stroke/Heart Failure, and ER boarding. Applicants with 2 years of experience are preferred; first-time travelers will be considered. Certifications required include ACLS and BLS. Emergent duties include care of ventilated patients and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Nurses will manage cardiac and vasoactive drips with no titration required. Applicants will be expected to manage intravascular access and IV medications, along with monitoring vital signs and telemetry. Experience with procedures such as bronchoscopes, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms is valuable. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics with conditions such as respiratory issues, trauma, and multi-system organ failure. Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams. Patient ratios are 1:4 during both day and night shifts. All staff must comply with vaccination requirements.
