**Exciting Travel RN Opportunity - Med Tele Unit**
**Job Description:**
- **Start Date:** 12/14
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 48hrs preferred
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Number of Beds**: 25
- **Patient Ratios**: 4-5:1
- **Patient Population**: Primarily renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med surg patients.
- **Safety & Quality Focus**: High expectations for documentation compliance and processes related to central lines, foleys, C. diff, and other HAIs.
- **Team Support**: Enjoy a collaborative environment with charge nurses and techs available to assist.
**Equipment & Documentation:**
- **Type of Equipment**: EKG, bladder scanner, sit-to-stand, hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps, Pyxis.
- **Documentation System**: Meditech - EBCD
**Scheduling Requirements:**
- At least every 3rd weekend
- 3 shifts per week
**Floating Policy:**
- May float to like units (Ortho/Neuro/CCU/CDU/SSU/Obs/Rehab).
**Patient Experience Focus:**
- **2X2's**:
1) Nurse Explain
2) Nurse Courtesy and Respect
- Conduct Nurse Leader Rounds on every patient daily, ensuring clear communication and connection with patients.
- Actively monitor white boards, tidiness of rooms, and safety/quality measures.
**Hospital Recognitions:**
- Certifications: CP Center, Primary Stroke Center, Colorectal Center of Excellence, Bariatric Center of Excellence, Ortho Certified.
**Candidate Requirements:**
- **Must Have**:
- ACLS
- BLS
- Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- **Advanced Skills Needed**: Basic Med-Surg procedures
- **Dress Code**:
- Royal blue scrub tops
- Royal blue or black pants
- Grey, white, black, or royal blue undershirt
