Description:
Position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry with the ability to also work in Medical/Surgical.
Shifts are three 12-hour shifts per week, either days or nights.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.
Weekend work is required, specifically every other weekend.
No on-call requirements are necessary.
The clinician is expected to float within the scope of their training to meet facility needs.
Block scheduling requests will not be accommodated.
Candidates must be outside a 100-mile radius to apply and current license holders are acceptable.
A maximum of 5 days off is preferred during the contract period.
The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty, and on-call hours do not count towards guaranteed hours.
Special requirements include Epic experience.
The facility is an acute care teaching hospital with a designation of Level 3 trauma.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
Daily census averages around 365 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes therapy teams, respiratory services, and social services, among others.
Candidates may float to other departments or affiliate hospitals as needed.
Background checks are required, and candidates must be cleared prior to starting.
All hires must comply with regulatory requirements for background checks and fingerprinting.
Candidates must acknowledge all requirements and restrictions prior to submission.
