Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit, ensuring monitoring and analysis of patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.

Shift Details

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (Days: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
Holiday Coverage: Required unless included in approved time off
Floating: May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs

Patient Ratios

The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5 or 1:6.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry or a related field is required.
Licensure: Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Special Requirements: Epic experience is required, as well as experience with patient ratios of 1:5.

Local Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis
Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Additional Information

This position may require participation in emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Travelers should avoid confirming assignments during this period if it may pose a concern.

Parking is available at no cost, with passes provided upon arrival. Scrub color for the unit is Royal Blue, and charting is conducted via Epic.
