Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in New Hampshire
• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience in telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, or a comparable acute-care setting
• Demonstrated ability to care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and clinical assessment
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an on-site hospital setting
• Ability to meet applicable travel nurse onboarding, health, and competency requirements

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients throughout the assigned shift
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established standards and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing colleagues, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and discharge needs
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and communicate changes in condition promptly
