Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in the Observation Unit.
The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a short-stay recovery environment.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience.
Pediatric experience is required.
Epic experience is preferred for this role.
The RN will float between recovery areas as needed.
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory.
Candidates are expected to manage various tasks, including BiPAP/CPAP management and blood product administration.
The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Daily census is approximately 12 patients.
Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
The patient ratios may vary, with 3 patients per nurse during the day and 4 patients per nurse at night.
Weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs.
Candidates must complete all required job ID submission questions, provide references, and have no employment gaps over 30 days in their work history.
Epic experience is strongly preferred, especially for nursing positions.
