Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Telemetry. This position provides continuous monitoring of vital signs and heart rhythms for acutely ill patients requiring close observation. The role supports patients transitioning from intensive care who have cardiac or other serious medical conditions.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Two years of registered nurse telemetry experience; completion of National Institutes of Health stroke training; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Michigan state licensure.
- Preferred Qualifications: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Provides continuous monitoring of vital signs and heart rhythms using automated equipment. Cares for acutely ill patients, including those transitioning from intensive care who require close observation for cardiac conditions or other serious medical concerns.
