Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse position in an acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with cardiac monitoring needs in a fast-paced environment. The position requires working night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, with an emphasis on patient safety and critical care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS; valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry units, proficiency in Cerner charting system, and ability to float between units as needed.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between the telemetry unit and other designated units.
- Additional Information: The telemetry unit specializes in cardiac patient care, including post-procedural monitoring such as post cath, post pacemaker, post PCI, TAVR, and CABG recovery. The unit handles a diverse patient population with medical and surgical needs. Orientation includes 6 hours of unit-specific training prior to start.
