The role requires flexibility to float between units and the ability to manage complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience is preferred.
  • Additional Information: Nurses will be floating to multiple units, including telemetry, med-surg, and intermediate care, with orientation provided to each unit. The patient population is very sick and high acuity, requiring nurses to be resourceful and compassionate, often working with limited resources. The role involves reading strips from Phillips monitors and managing various drips such as amiodarone, cardizem, and heparin.
