Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) registered nurses are needed for a facility in California. This position involves providing specialized patient care to highly acute, high-acuity patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, pneumonia, and post-cath lab recovery. The role requires flexibility to float between units and the ability to manage complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

- Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; incumbent must have experience with drips, chest tubes preferred, and familiarity with electronic medical records system Cerner.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience is preferred.
- Additional Information: Nurses will be floating to multiple units, including telemetry, med-surg, and intermediate care, with orientation provided to each unit. The patient population is very sick and high acuity, requiring nurses to be resourceful and compassionate, often working with limited resources. The role involves reading strips from Phillips monitors and managing various drips such as amiodarone, cardizem, and heparin.
