The position offers rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with a focus on delivering quality care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details

  • Position Description: FLOAT POOL RN (must be willing to float to 8 different units).
  • Shift: Rotating shifts with days, evenings, and nights; 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location, and 2 years of travel nursing experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours, TR Band experience, capable of performing cardiac drips and reading tele strips.
  • Additional Information: Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading tele strips. Sick with patient populations including ED border patients, mental health medication administration, and transfers in the ICU. Clinician to patient ratios are up to 5:1 during days and evenings, up to 6:1 during nights. The EMR system used is EPIC.
