Job Details
- Shift Time: Nights, with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Certifications Required: Active Massachusetts RN License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Qualifications: The position requires an RN license and BLS certification. The candidate must have a current license verified prior to employment.
- Experience Required: 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location and 2 years in travel nursing; prior experience with telemetry monitoring, reading tele strips, cardiac drips, and TR Band experience preferred.
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to float to all units in the hospital, including Med/Surg Tele units, Emergency Department, and mental health units. Experience with EPIC EMR system is required. The role includes caring for diverse patient populations, including ED border patients, mental health medication patients, and transfer-ready ICU patients. The unit census varies from 8 to 41 beds, with patient ratios up to 6:1 during nights and up to 5:1 during days and evenings.
