Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location Open
This position involves providing specialized care to patients with cardiac and other complex conditions within a healthcare facility. It requires the ability to work independently, assess patient needs, administer treatments, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, BLS certification from American Heart Association, ACLS certification from American Heart Association, RN License in the state of employment or in a compact state, minimum of 1 year of related nursing experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry or cardiac care, additional certifications as applicable
- Responsibilities: Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients; manage cardiac drips and other complex treatments; address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families; document patient data accurately; educate patients and families; make appropriate clinical decisions and delegations.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: All new experienced Registered Nurses must attend a New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire, complete competency validations, and participate in annual competency requirements.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be currently licensed in their state of employment or in a compact state and hold current CPR and ACLS certifications.
