Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,192 per week in Salem, MA

Provide care for ED border patients, serve as medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients. Opportunity to expand clinical skills across a broad range of Med/Surg Telemetry environments within a large acute care facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between up to 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units throughout the hospital
• Perform cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and telemetry strip interpretation every 4 hours, including measuring intervals
• Provide care for ED border patients, serve as medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients
• Maintain clinician-to-patient ratios of up to 6:1 on night shifts
• Document and chart using EPIC EMR
• Perform TR Band experience procedures as required by unit assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience in a single location
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Willingness and ability to float to 8 different units as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of telemetry experience including strip interpretation and cardiac drip management
• TR Band experience
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Experience caring for diverse patient populations including ED, ICU step-down, and behavioral health settings
