Job TitleTravel Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | 48 Hours Guaranteed per Week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:3-1:4 (AM) and 1:4-1:5 (PM)
- Perform advanced assessment and critical thinking in the management of telemetry patients
- Manage vasoactive drips and monitor cardiac rhythms using unit cardiac monitoring systems
- Assist with or oversee central line and PICC line placement procedures
- Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Participate in bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
- Proficiency with telemetry equipment including BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech documentation system
- Background in a Level 2 Trauma Center or stroke/STEMI-accredited facility
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility to float to MedSurg units as needed
