Job Summary
Join a dedicated nursing team as a Registered Nurse on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit at an acute care hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical intervention and continuous cardiac monitoring.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, managing a diverse patient population, and collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes on the 7 West B Medicine unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients with medical conditions and telemetry needs, interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- More than one (1) year of Medical-Surgical or Telemetry experience.
- Professional nursing certification (e.g., CMSRN, PCCN).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in administering medications and treatments, including IV therapy.
- Ability to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.

Licensing Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
