Job Summary
Telemetered Registered Nurse (RN) Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time night shift position involves caring for post-cardiac catheterization, post-surgical, and high-risk medication patients, as well as respiratory patients on non-invasive positive pressure ventilation. The RN will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the needs of the adult patient population within the organizations standards of care, ensuring safety and quality throughout each shift.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license; current BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA); current ACLS certification from AHA.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for cardiac, surgical, or respiratory patients; additional certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, or other relevant specialty certifications are desirable.
• Responsibilities: Obtain and record initial assessments, establish patient priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs; re-assess patients systematically; develop and implement individualized care plans within established timeframes; make nursing decisions based on patient outcomes; participate in education and discharge planning; perform point-of-care testing procedures; evaluate care plans and modify as needed.
• Additional Information: The position involves managing patients on high-risk medications including Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin, Insulin, Ketamine, and Lidocaine drips. Respiratory patients on Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation (NIPPV) such as BiPAP or AirVO are also cared for. The role requires a compassionate approach and adherence to safety standards.
