Job Title: RN Tele Profession: Nursing Specialty: RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: ACLS preferred Description: Level IV Trauma Center with a Level III NICU Client with a total of 277 beds available Patient ratios depend on staffing, averaging up to 6 patients per nurse General Med/Surg skillset required Experience with tracheostomies, chest tubes, and reading/interpreting cardiac rhythm strips is essential Knowledge of Lasix, insulin, and heparin gtts, as well as wound vacs is needed Support within the department includes CNAs and techs, RNs, rapid response team, and phlebotomy staff Technology includes EMR systems and IV pumps Staff may float to any Med/Surg unit as assigned by the House Supervisor Weekend rotation is every other weekend Major holiday expectations are every other major holiday RTO is approved for up to 7 days if the traveler is willing to extend their contract Shift times are from 1900 to 0700 Schedule cycle lasts for 6 weeks Scrub color is any solid color without logos
