Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 16-Week Night Shift Contract in Easton, Maryland

Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) needed in Easton, Maryland, for a 16-week night-shift contract caring for adult and geriatric patients. Join a fast-paced telemetry team and provide high-quality acute-care nursing for patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions. This on-site travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to work in a supportive Eastern Shore community known for its charming historic character, waterfront setting, and access to the Chesapeake Bay region.

Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Easton, Maryland
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920–$2,020
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks
• Schedule: 3 or 4 shifts per week; 36 or 48 hours accepted
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts, approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5, with up to 1:6 for lower-acuity assignments
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; four weekends during the assignment
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required within the specialty, to lower-acuity units, and to a nearby sister facility as needed
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of submission
• At least 2 years of recent telemetry or comparable acute-care nursing experience
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current CPI certification
• Strong telemetry assessment, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and acute-care clinical skills
• Ability to float within scope of practice and adapt to changing patient-care needs

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients on a high-volume telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with cardiac dysrhythmias, acute coronary syndrome, congestive heart failure, respiratory failure, pneumonia, stroke, and renal conditions
• Manage telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, central lines, PICC lines, feeding tubes, chest tubes, surgical drains, and wound care according to unit standards
• Administer blood products and manage heparin, insulin, and non-titrated cardiac or vasoactive drips as appropriate
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac catheterization, cardiac angiography, myocardial infarction, and related interventions
• Use evidence-based practices for oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway support, isolation precautions, and dysrhythmia management
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, rehabilitation services, phlebotomy, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Epic
• Float to appropriate units or nearby affiliated locations when needed while maintaining safe, patient-centered care
