Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and measurable outcomes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide safe, patient-centered care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients and families
• Supervise, direct, and appropriately delegate duties to various levels of assigned nursing staff; ability to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Minimum of two years of recent RN experience in a relevant clinical setting
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
• Experience in both Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing environments
