Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit during overnight shifts
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to cardiac changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Document patient assessments, care delivery, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Telemetry or Med/Surg Telemetry setting
Current BLS certification required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems in an acute care environment
Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
