• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry / Stepdown Unit

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, typically 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Start Date: August 10, 2026
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and required within 6 months if not already obtained
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Telemetry, stepdown, or acute care hospital experience preferred
• Ability to titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Experience with EPIC or other electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process from assessment through evaluation
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Care for patients with chest pain, CHF exacerbations, alcohol detox needs, and pre/post cardiac cath recovery
• Administer medications and manage ordered therapies in accordance with nursing practice standards
• Titrate applicable drips and support patients receiving cardiac-related treatment
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education with a compassionate, relationship-based approach
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold a safe, professional, and supportive care environment
