**Exciting Opportunity: RN Neurology 6C - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- Join our dynamic neurology team on the 6C floor!
- **Position Type:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Specialty:** Telemetry
- **Shift:** Nights, 1900-0700
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 (must indicate on submission form)
- **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks
**Essential Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-quality patient care for neuro, medical, and telemetry patients.
- Utilize the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and care.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
- Apply expertise in drug titration and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.
**Requirements:**
- **Licensure:** Current RN License in Missouri or eligible for licensure.
- **Required Certifications:** BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start).
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in telemetry (inpatient only). Neuro experience preferred.
**Unit Information:**
- **Patient Ratios:**
- Days: 1:5-1:6
- Nights: 1:6-1:7
- **Equipment:** Telemetry, lift equipment, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps.
- **EMR System:** EPIC
- **Number of Beds:** 32
**Work Environment:**
- Stand and walk for most of your shift.
- Engage in lifting, turning, and bending with patient assistance.
- Potential exposure to blood and body fluids.
**Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Black only
- Unacceptable Attire: Anything but black scrubs.
