**Join Our Team as a Cardiac Med RN - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Specialty:** Cardiac Telemetry
- **Floor:** Cardiac Med 4B
- **Shift:** Nights (1900-0700)
- **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 (must indicate on submission)
**Position Highlights:**
- **Openings:** 1
- **Required Licensure:** Current RN License (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
- **Required Certifications:**
- BLS from AHA only
- NIHSS (may be submitted without, but must obtain prior to start)
- **Preferred Certification:** ACLS from AHA only
- **Experience:** At least 1 year in Cardiac Tele
- **Float Requirement:** Will float on a rotational basis
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 31
- **Patient Ratios:**
- Days: 1:5-1:6
- Nights: 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees)
- **Equipment:** Alaris pumps, telemetry, lift equipment
- **EMR:** EPIC
**Candidate Profile:**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- 1 year Cardiac Tele (inpatient only)
- Experience in drug titration
- **Preferred Skillset/Experience:**
- Cardiac
- **Type of Patients:** Cardiac/Med Surg
- **Personality Fit:** Determined, decisive, flexible
**Working Conditions:**
- Stand and walk most of the time
- Meet unit-specific physical demands
- Significant bending, stooping, and lifting
- High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids
- Required to push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs, kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
**Dress Code:**
- **Scrub Color:** Black
- **Unacceptable Attire:** Torn clothes, open-toed shoes, not wearing scrubs
