Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in Columbia, MD. This position involves providing care for adult patients in a short-stay emergency room overflow unit, focusing on cardiac telemetry and observation care. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to established protocols and standards.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must have an active RN license, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of current experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry, Emergency Department, or Intensive Medical Care.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Short stay emergency room overflow unit with adult patient populations; targets a length of stay of less than 30 hours; Level of care includes Med Surg Telemetry or IMC; Patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity; Free parking; Weekend every other weekend; One winter holiday (Christmas or New Years); No call availability; Float within skill set; Must have prior employment with Johns Hopkins system noted on work history if applicable.
