Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in Columbia, MD. This position involves providing nursing care in a short-stay emergency room overflow unit for adult patients, including cardiac telemetry and observation patients, with a target length of stay of less than 30 hours. The role requires expertise in dysrhythmia management within a med surg telemetry or intermediate care setting.

- Years of Experience: 2 years of current MS/Tele, ED, or IMC experience; 0 minimum experience required

- Required Qualifications: RN license; BLS; 2 years current experience in MS/Tele, ED or IMC; dysrhythmia management
- Preferred Qualifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; EPIC experience; 1-2 travel assignments
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Short stay emergency room overflow unit with adult population, Level of care Med Surg Tele or Intermediate Care Level RN, nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity, and availability for call are not required. Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins facilities must be verified before submitting, and candidates must be gone at least one full year prior to applying if they have worked there previously.
