Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry specialty.
The successful candidate will work in a cardiovascular unit.
The typical patient ratios are 1:5-6 but can increase to 1:7 during call-ins.
The unit provides care for a variety of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, heart attacks, and strokes.
Patients are monitored through cardiac telemetry systems.
The position requires managing cardiac drips and understanding dysrhythmias.
Weekends will require working every other weekend.
Holiday requirements include working 2 out of 3 holidays.
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, but accommodation will be made when possible.
Candidates will not float outside of the designated unit.
Salaries are commensurate with experience.
Traveler candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.
All certifications must be obtained prior to the start date.
Conduct issues, including unprofessional behavior, may result in immediate contract termination.
This role requires strong skills in telemetry and patient monitoring.
Additional responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
This unit has a daily patient census of approximately 40 patients.
