Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in a hospital setting providing specialized care for adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role involves working night shifts, with a focus on patient safety, accurate interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of cardiac conditions within a high-acuity environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license or compact license in the relevant state(s); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications; 0 years of experience, appropriate education or certification requirements as applicable
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry units and E-PIC (Electronic Patient Information Charting) system; interpretation of dysrhythmias; management of cardiac medications and use of non-invasive airway management tools
- Float: All travelers will float within the service line
- Additional Information: This position involves caring for adult patients with telemetry needs, stroke, and some cardiac medication management. Candidates must be prepared to work rotating weekend shifts every other week, including either Saturday and Sunday or Friday and Saturday, depending on the rotation schedule. No local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted, and no on-call requirements apply. All required certifications must be completed prior to start, and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced.
